There is a surfeit of Black Type on the female side. Second dam, Fort Belvedere is a sister to G1 SA Guineas winner, Heir Apparent, Quickwood (the dam of Nightingale) and a three- quarter sister to G1 SA Fillies Classic victress, Athina.
