Narrow Creek’s six at Cape Winter Sale
John Everett’s Narrow Creek Stud, in the Top 10 on the National Breeders Log the last two seasons, will be sending six yearlings to the CRS Cape Racing Mixed Winter Sale at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Friday, 16 June.
Everett shared a few notes on his draft:
By leading young sire Erupt out of Honey Bunch by Right Approach, this one hails from the staying family of Treaj Pots and Milk and Honey. “A pretty filly with plenty of scope.”
By What A Winter out of Hurricane Katrina (Windrush), whose first three foals have all won at least two races. “Good sized, racy filly.”
By Canford Cliffs from a mare by Willow Magic, this colt comes from the family of former Equus Champion Broodmare, Jessamine. “A strong, well grown colt.”
A colt by Legislate from the Silvano mare, Tiffindell, whose first foal has won and placed. “A typical Legislate, neat horse.”
By top first-season sire Fire Away out of the prolific Water Bird (Silvano), this colt is a half-brother to G1 placed sprinter, Goliath Heron. “A very nice type of horse, racy and athletic.”
By The United States out of six-time winner Winter Star, this is a full-sister to smart, up-and-coming racer, Home Of The Brave. “She looks quick and racy.”
